Venge Vineyard

"Plum...with a hint of cherry." While Nils Venge’s cabernet was the first in Napa to receive 100 points from Wine Spectator, his son’s winery was in need of attention. A bit of research revealed people reincarnated as giraffes, still savoring a long ago sip, was fresh material for the category. The London Fab (the most highly esteemed liquor advertising award show,) agreed and awarded the campaign a gold Fab Award. It also appeared on Adcritic’s top ten list for three weeks. More importantly, the work helped establish Saddleback Vineyard as a player in Napa.
